The City operates a recreation centre next to the retirement community that offers an indoor swimming pool, gymnasium and Seniors Centre. There is a five-pin bowling alley there as well and many Retirement Miramichi tenants belong to a Seniors Bowling League. There are outdoor tennis courts within a five minute walk of the retirement community.
